Simplon internationally

Simplon has expanded significantly on an international scale, with a presence in North Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and Asia. This expansion has been driven by a commitment to making digital technology accessible and enabling people around the world to acquire tech skills.

A global spread

The creation of Simplon campuses abroad

Simplon has gradually designed and rolled out an innovative support model, inspired by social franchises, aimed at enabling partners to adopt our training programmes, our methodology and our pedagogical approach.

Partnerships with local organisations

Regardless of whether it is Europe, Africa, the Middle East or Asia, the Simplon network knows no borders and continues to expand internationally thanks to its public, private and philanthropic partners!

A global network

In addition to the countries in which we have a physical presence, we have established a large network of partners who share our values and objectives across several continents and around thirty countries.

An ethical and inclusive digital transition

Simplon's international partners, including NGOs, social enterprises, training centres and large private groups based in developing and industrialised countries, share the conviction that the digital transition can enable those far removed from training and/or employment to become tomorrow's talent.

Uncovering talent around the world

Committed to prioritising Africa in its international development, Simplon has created two subsidiaries: Simplon Maghreb, based in Marrakesh, Morocco, which also operates in Algeria and Tunisia, and Simplon Africa, based in Dakar, Senegal, which currently operates in nearly 20 sub-Saharan countries, either independently or in partnership.Simplon campuses and national teams are thus involved on a daily basis in achieving the group's social impact objectives in Morocco, Senegal, Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire.

In Morocco, Simplon entered into an ambitious partnership in 2018 with the Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP), one of the country’s largest industrial groups. Simplon and OCP joined forces to launch in Morocco the YouCode school network – Powered by Simplon. Inclusive, free, and offering exceptional training conditions in Morocco, the YouCode network now includes three campuses in Youssoufia, Safi, and Nador. These schools offer young job seekers, with an average age of 23, two-year training programs in web development and data, applying Simplon’s pedagogy and curricula. More than 250 learners are trained each year within the YouCode network, coming from diverse backgrounds (over one-third have a high school diploma or lower), with a positive exit rate of 75% six months after completing their training.

Created in 2017 by Sonatel — Orange’s subsidiary in Senegal — in partnership with Simplon, Sonatel Academy is the first free coding school in West Africa. Its mission is to train young people, including underrepresented groups such as women, in technical digital professions and thus support their professional integration.

As part of the national “Digital Senegal Strategy 2025,” the training programs conducted in partnership with Simplon have already benefited hundreds of young Senegalese job seekers, with a feminization rate of 40% and an integration rate of over 80%. These young people are primarily trained for careers such as web developer, digital coordinator, and data developer.

The project with Sonatel has also enabled new partnerships between Simplon and the African Orange Digital Centers in Sierra Leone, Mali, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea-Conakry, and even the Middle East with Orange Jordan.

Factoria F5, Founded in Spain in 2017, it has followed a similar trajectory by building on Simplon’s expertise and values.

Thanks to an intensive and inclusive training model, the organization has enabled nearly 1,000 people to train for digital careers and access professional opportunities.

Factoria F5 has established itself as a key player in promoting inclusion in the tech sector in Spain, collaborating with companies and institutions to democratize access to digital skills and foster diversity within the industry.

Becode, founded in Belgium in 2016, quickly established itself as a key player in training for digital professions aimed at people far from employment. Thanks to the initial support from Simplon and its innovative pedagogical approach, Becode has succeeded in creating an inclusive ecosystem enabling more than 3,000 learners to acquire skills that are in high demand on the job market. Today, the organization is recognized as a benchmark in Belgium, collaborating with numerous partners to promote professional integration and meet the growing needs of the technology sector.
